Like the premise; easy to pump out the air; however it needs repumping after 8 hrs. Is that normal?

Keeps cheese fresh. A little larger than I expected and glass base is a thinner glass than I thought it would be.

Love this! I grated a block of Parmigiano and filled this jar a couple weeks ago. Used the parm today in a dish I made and it was perfectly fresh. Love this jar and the fact that it not only has the name of what is in it but the vacuum seal is great!
