Pois joins the Orci Collection — Frantoio Muraglia's yearly series of hand-decorated terracotta jars drawn from the age-old Apulian tradition of painted pottery. Its playful polka-dot motif is applied by hand, making each little jug a small work of craft and a collector's piece. What fills it is no afterthought: Muraglia's Coratina-led extra virgin olive oil, pressed from early-harvest olives on the Murgia plateau near Andria and cold-extracted to lock in its green, intensely fruity character and antioxidant-rich polyphenols, with free acidity comfortably below the extra-virgin limit. The refinement of the decoration echoes the precision of the milling — the same family standard, five generations on.
