Nastro Azzurro was born in 1963 as a premium beer by Peroni and immediately became synonymous with Italian; it takes its name from the award that was given in 1933 to the transatlantic ship Rex, the ship that managed to cross the Atlantic in less time. The suggestion of its name makes you think of the sea and the open air, recalls the Mediterranean and summer, all things that still characterize it today.
